​IT'S GIVEAWAY TIME! This Valentine's Day, do you fancy yourself a free goody bag filled with sweet treats from Makita, TOUGH MASTER, Bosch and other favourites? Say no more, as we've got the ultimate giveaway underway on our UK Planet Tools Facebook page, where we'll be offering select tools and accessories to not one, not two, but TEN lucky winners! All you have to do is tell us why you LOVE your favourite tool and share a photo of you using it. Why? Because we're all about sharing what WE love this Valentine's! What's up for grabs?

The winners of our competition will win one of three curated goody bags packed with 8 hand tools and accessories from a variety of brands sold at UK Planet Tools.

We have 4 of the first goody bag to win, 3 of the second and 3 of the third, coming to a grand total of 10.

The bag you win will be chosen depending on stock and will feature similar products of the same monetary value as the other two – so don't fret! All winners will be catered for.

How to enter

Entering our competition is easy!

1. Head over to our Facebook page and find our pinned Valentine's Day post

2. Comment below the post with a photo of your favourite tool in action (e.g. a Makita 18V drill drilling into drywall). It doesn't have to be a selfie, so don't worry if you're camera-shy!

3. In the comment, mention WHY you love this tool in particular. Has it lasted the test of time? Does it provide cordless convenience? Is it a limited edition? Give us any reason that comes to mind

My TOUGH MASTER pressure washer has been a treat since the day I bought it one year ago. Not only do I use it to clean my patio, but it's also saved me a fair bit of money on car washes (as you can see from the image!)

I'd be lost without it now. Any time my friends or family come over and I'm using it, they all want to have a go. My niece even likes to spray me with it, which I admit does make me look a bit silly. I've recently started cleaning the neighbour's car with it, too, which gets me homemade cupcakes in return. So, as a people person and foodie, there's really no other tool to choose from.

Who can enter?

As much as we'd love to see all our customers with their favourite tools, we do unfortunately have some limitations as to who can enter.

We kindly ask that entrants:

• Are over 18

• Are living in the United Kingdom

• Are the original owner of their Facebook account

What's more, to be eligible to win, all entrants must have followed all instructions as outlined above. So, if you have commented but not followed our page, for example, you will not qualify for a prize. Comments without a photo will also not be considered, so please don't try to enter on Instagram.

And please please PLEASE make sure your item is of an actual tool – favourite teddy bears or pets don't count, we're afraid (unless the tool is also in shot).

Closing time

The competition will close on 13th February 2023 at 23:59.

Any comments received after this time will not be considered for the giveaway.

Winners will be announced on Valentine's Day (14/02) on our Facebook page. You will also receive a private DM from us to let you know you're the winner.

Please note, our 10 winners will be selected randomly using a 'Spin the Wheel'-style tool to eliminate bias.
